Our last days in Petersburg were very busy, and without internet access, so we couldn't post an update. We're home now, safe and sound, and both of us are missing Russia and "the students"! Nadia was the ideal child flying home and through long delays in customs. Bless her. Our luggage was lost for a day and we came home to plumbing problems that left us without hot water for a couple days.
Nadia is back at school, and seems to be adjusting more quickly than her mother, who is missing the bookstores, cafes, pastries, culture, beautiful streets, Russian friends, and intensity of Russia.
I'm very grateful that we had this experience. More on Nadia's impressions to come...
